a new vanishing point/capless is in town, and currently purchasable from some online sellers. i got 3 for archiving.

here's the points:

1) it is really a VP. there is a catch door that closes on retract and opens on extracts.

2) the mechanism are a bit rough, but a little alignment of the nib unit is all that is required. greasing and washing isn't required.

3) it is not totally well made as the nib do touch the surface of the catch door when extracted.

4) it writes well.

5) it holds like a decimo.

6) it costs sgd $13 only. yup, u saw it correctly, sgd $13. online purchase. look for those who gives cheap shipping.

this should be a head-turner.
