jinhao 992

my box of jinhao 992 came in finally, and the first i did was to find out what makes it tick. well, a couple of photos taken, some observation:
1) the nib and feed are somewhat IPG type, so, they should write smooth. but it is at the IPG smooth level. that's good enough. considering daiso's IPG is also very smooth.
2) it's built by parts. the nib and feed unit are one, made proudly by jinhao (see that jinhao's sign on the container).
3) there is potential for an ED, but the end and the front are as parts, so there is potential for leakages too.
4) they made inner caps for the caps, so, the pen should write after leaving it for some time.

anyway this set is going straight into the vault as collection.

what puts this on a different level from other parker urban is that the cap is light and the nib is gold plated. the nib is the big difference.
