-- a dark black lacquer surface makes contrast to the rhodium laser crossed lines pattern of the body.
-- a lustrous black barrel adorned with striking white crossing and converging vertical and horizontal lines. 

looks like the design baffled everyone. i was looking at the lines myself and although i kinda know the meaning to their number, thickness, point of intersections and break points, i shall just leave it until i get a veteran of pilot to confirm. in any case the lines on the body are not meant to be aligned, thus there are 2 versions; the ones that align, and the others that don't. depends on how you interpret, art isn't conform, yet it is.
