pierre cardin orange pen

pierre cardin, model name: unknown.

while pierre cardin isn't a well known brand in the fountain pen world, they are well known for designs. As for pens, the fact that they sometimes use IPG nibs puts people off. at least it puts me off. On top of that, their pens are generally expensive wrt similar pens from other brands.

Not for this model. it comes with a Pierre cardin nib, with a "P" on top, and the body is really well made. On top of that, the price is quite reasonable to me, less than 100 USD for a mint unused pen. Just look at the body and you will agree with me.

in comparison with a wing sung orange pen and a campo marzio pen. i had thought the campo marzio pen is good enough, but this is even better.

Megatron: so it seems that the lamy dark lilac is fashioned from dark energon. That is the reason why every one is affected. Better than the dark star saber. Hahahaha.

Ultra Magnus: We must do everything in our power to ensure Megatron and his dark energon remains in check before Optimus Prime returns. Autobots, take your pick. I shall make use of the gold pen while the star saber remains missing. Now, where is that magical big hammer? hmm..

Bumblebee: We have to stop Megatron, with or without Optimus. [Gives his unworkable war cries]

 Megatron: Why have only 1 dark energon lamy, when you can have two? One for cybertron, one for guild earth. mwahahahaha. Dark energon do not last forever. The ink, aka dark lilac ink, is already running low across the sleeping unicron, aka earth. Now, where is Optimus?

pilot super 57 (japan and burma version)

Pilot 57, japan edition:
The full name for this pen was the Pilot Super 57. It was a slightly smaller, more colorful generation of Super descended down from the original Pilot Supers. It was first released in 1957, hence the name. The rubber sac that came with the pen is still working to my surprise. This somehow means something, either the rubber quality then is superb, or the type of ink does kill the pen.

This is a pen given to me by my mother. It wasn't working then, the nib and feed fell out easily. With a lack of spare parts and unwilling to make permanent changes, it took me 2 years to have this repaired properly in an unorthadox way. the same way i fitted fountain pen nibs onto ballpoint pen body. no damage to the pen and reversible.

the nib and feed condition are superb though the body has seen wear and tear, of course.

pilot 57, burma edition:
This was made later in burma and was still found as late as 2000. the nib is made in japan. despite claims that it is and ED, it can take the converter from the japan edition.

This pen is in mint condition.

I acquire this model around 2-3 years ago. still a vintage, but a far cry from the original.

got more burma version, now in different colors
