Ling Mo

this pen is a cross between pilot, sailor and wing sung. The looks copied closely the sailor pen as shown, and its converter can be used on a sailor. the nib however, closely follows a pilot and can be interchanged with it. the feed however, follows a little more towards pilot international though i don't think it will fit. also, it isn't a total similar. the transparent feed follows wing sung. lastly, the rubber on the pen body allows conversion to Eyedropper, something original on this pen.

When it comes to writing, smooth, yes. dry, yes. a bit springy. costs less than a pilot 78G+, just a little over sgd $10. it does looks nice, feel nice and writes nice.

Guan Le Ming 2001.

a vintage full demonstrator with a hooded nib. costs cheaply too. works beautifully. looks pretty.

Delike Alpha copper hand-turning the pen Pocket pen bullet pen ultrafine pen EF

Pen of interest today: nope, it isn't a kaweco. it looks like a brass kaweco, it is made of copper, but to an extent, it is superior to the brass kaweco. and, it costs 1/10 of the price of a brass kaweco.

it is made of full copper; very heavy. it comes with a clip that is so kaweco. it's nib is japanese EF, yes, japanese EF. it can use a converter and it comes with it. price? less than sgd 20. writes smoothly and nicely. Compared to a real kaweco, it is slightly longer, but hey, it can take a converter.

Pictures of lingmo is delayed till tomorrow. Clearance for the comparison of this pen had some eyebrows raising, so, some convincing is required. :p

Ta Tung 717

Pen of interest today: Ta Tung 717. I'm seriously not going to write its chinese character name. Seriously, no. ok, it is called 大同. :p

What is interesting about this pen is that it is a piston pen made in china way before wing sung 698. although primitive, it served its purpose. This pen is in directly comparison to the dollar 717. It costs almost a dollar too. (yes, i do see it being sold for $15 dollars now).
