Wing Sung 698

well, I had to get this pen. presumably the first piston pen from china (if i had not seen one prototype which was created 10 years ago).

i have to say, this pen looks like twsbi eco, but works differently. it takes the pilot nib and feed, the wing 359 nib and feed as well, comes with it own silicon oil and costs well below $20 sgd. you want a japanese nib on twsbi eco looking pen, this is the one.

the details are in each picture, so i shall let each picture do the talking.

btw this pen cannot be posted.

i bought 3 EF nib.
internal packaging. For a piston pen, why is the a converter?

it is a converter containing silicon grease. thumbs up for creativity. and u get a cartridge/converter stopper as well.

the pen.

the pen but with a pilot nib.

now here is where the secret lies. you can't turn the knob. notice the groove teeth? unlike twsbi, pelikan, you pull the knob out. go next picture

once the knob comes up, you can turn the piston. and lock the knob again. this is quite an easy solution to the problem of autoreleasing ink due to the turning of the knob.

comparison with a twsbi 580

comparison with pilots and the wing sung 659.
comparison with twsbi eco clear.
